Tutorial RequestsGo nuts. If there's ever anything you're curious about that I do specifically or just want to know how to do in general, then feel free to request it as a tutorial. I've forgotten most of the other requests after getting busy. Found a cheaper but suitable tablet to use in the meantime until I can save up for a better one.

Anonymous Art Trade Project!Ok, so what's the best part about art?
Sharing it.
I dunno about you but I like sharing things.
And the best thing about post (well mail, to you silly americans and such. it's post.) is recieving something. I LOVE getting letters and parcels and things. The annoying thing is that nowadays you have to pay for something and physically order something to get the "WHEE I HAVE THINGS!" feeling. (Ok, maybe I'm the only one who actually gets THAT excited, but recieving gifts is always nice.)
So, whats the deal?
Art trades, Anonymous art trades.
You give us an address, but not your name. and you'll receive an address in return to post your gift art to. Make something nice, send it with love. And wait patiently by the letterbox in your tent with your box of cookies for your very own random deviant to send you your lovely artwork to frame and put in pride of place on your wall and love it forever!!

In Feb I have personally found 20 different events happening that particular month and what I want contest participants to do is make a work of art in ANY media to depict the event of your choice! In the description of your art work I want to you write up a small synopsis/ paragraph/ description about the event you are depicting in your art work, that way when I put up all the pictures for voting then I can copy past the description under your picture. That way everyone can learn something new about an event in a part of the world people may have never known about before!

I made this tutorial back in 2010 as a pitch for a project that never took off. I finally decided I should just bundle it up as a PDF and upload it for anyone who wants to see it.

It's old and the image quality isn't super great, but it covers my process from idea creation, composition, adding color, all the way to the final draft, and there might be something useful in there for some of you.

This tutorial really helps! I just have two questions,what tablet do you have and what app did you use? Otherwise this tutorial helps me use layers properly. I also love how descriptive it is.

I really appreciate the tips on the overlay and multiply. Adding color in photoshop is very tricky for me and it's hard for me to transition from tradition paint to computers.
