I cannot fathom the extent of your talent. I'm just stunned actually. If I may ask, how many years and by that I mean, how much effort in terms of practice, did it take for you to reach this point, considering that your starting point would be something like... a hobbyist who sketches in her spare time?

Another question(s), if you don't mind... how do you start creating these works of art? Do you keep a huge image/reference bank? How do you deal with bouts of artist's block? I am sorry for the barrage of questions but I am very much amazed by your skill and your innovative imagination. Alongside revering concept artists, I really want to reach the same level of greatness, that is to create pieces that also act as muses themselves to other artists.

This gallery is beautiful and that doesn't even begin to describe it. Continue doing what you do, because I don't want to stop admiring your work. :D

Hi! Thanks for dropping in! :)

Well, it's hard to quantify how much work it took.. I've been drawing since I was a kid, but I didn't take it seriously until around my early twenties. I took what few classes I could afford, and did a lot of studying on my own. I've been working pretty steadily since then, freelancing on a fulltime basis since 2006.

I keep artist block at bay by having a ton of different drafts to work on. If I get stuck on one thing, I can usually find some old sketch or draft to work on. I try to draw out thumbnails any time I get an idea, so that when I'm feeling stuck, I have some stuff ready to go.

I have huge folders of reference/inspiration photos and art. If I'm stuck, usually browsing through them will give me enough of an idea to work with. :) Any time I come across something interesting, I save it for future reference (I've been trying to get better about separating things out into folders to keep better track of stuff. Like, folders for clothes, hair, landscapes, clouds, water, machinery, cityscapes, interiors, etc).

Art is just something I've stubbornly plugged away at for enough time for it to look halfway decent :)

Wow, thank you very much for the insight. I have started keeping a folder of references as well but I especially like you've only started getting serious in your twenties. I'm currently 18 years and it's good to know that there's no rush for developing skill in creating works of art. Thumbs Up

Again, thanks for answering my questions and keep up the things you're doing because it seems to be going very well for you :)
