I've been debating whether or not to post this publicly, but it's the only personal piece I've done in a long time, and I don't want to load up the gallery with just commission stuff.

Anyway, this was painted several months ago, shortly after one of my favorite cats was killed. Not a fun time. He was a very special boy, and I still miss him. Part of me still thinks he might show up at the porch one day, happy and whole, as if nothing had happened...

Edit: I probably won't be selling prints of this painting, sorry. :/ It doesn't seem right to be earning money off of it.

my condolences...i can tell he was precious to you...it really does show in this piece. emotion is a strong force in art...and you obviously had a a lot...it really is beautiful...

Absolutely gorgeous. And I'm sorry about your kitty. You must have loved him very much. My baby's been gone for over two years and I still think sometimes he might pop up out of his box on the shelf and meow at me for some love. : )
