I'm trying to get some newer portfolio pieces together utilizing some feedback I got from the conceptart.org portfolio review a few weeks ago. The main comments I recieved were to watch my value patterns and overall composition. Thankfully, I had recently gotten it in my head that I needed to draw a huge migrating swarm of eels, so that seemed like a good subject to practice with. Unfortunately this isn't necessarily the best solution to the compositional/value pattern problems (the values are still a little spotty), but it was a lot of fun to paint. I like having something like this to render away at during downtimes.
