This is a commissioned portrait for my friend

, which unfortunately took a ludicrously long time to complete. (I'm so sorry!) I wanted to make sure I got it finished before I got buried under contract work for months again.

It's a portrait of him and his family, with his wife teaching his daughter some druidly earth magic, which has drawn the attention of several other families of animals. It was nice having a "quiet" painting where I could spend time rendering foliage and animals and drapery.
