Desert Dragon by juliedillon Desert Dragon by juliedillon
A princess and her serpentine dragon :)

This started off as more experimenting with shape and form, and then I started obsessing over it and had to finish it and get it out of the way so I could get back to focusing on my actual work. *cough* Overall I’m really happy with how it turned out. :)

Edit: Here is a detail shot, as requested by ~NonieR :) [link]

how much opacity and flow do you use when you work?

Lately I keep the overall opacity at 100%, but have it set so it responds to pen pressure, then the overall flow is around 15-20%. This gives me a brush that has a light touch without being too insubstantial. When I need a harder brush, I just turn off the opacity pressure sensitivity, or up the flow a bit. :) If I need to do really fine nuance work, I'll drop the flow down to under 10%.
