I do love your concepts. This one is chock full of symbolism of the elegant rose, the keyhole passageway, the tug-o-war/restriction, her plainer clothes. My eyes very much enjoy the flashes of orange here and there but the one on the leaves in the bottom right corner seems out of place. It doesn't seem to have a possible window of light to hit it there. Maybe if the glow was just a little more subdued it wouldn't stand out so much but still have that accent without losing it in the background.
woahh!! She's really pretty, so realistic, with a great athmosphere... Though, I think you could have given it a little more impact by working on the composition... ( the use of the vertical axis to rule the entire image, and the fact that the rose is directly over her head keeps the image from really flowing and the impression of the movement given to the girl is stifled... Move the girl to the left, putting the rose in the upper right-hand corner, where her gaze is directed, would accentuate the digonal-that's already present with the vines curling around her wrists- and give our own gaze a path to follow... but that's just a suggestion) It's really beautiful, I love it! Go on!
Your work is so consistently awesome that it is sometimes hard to decide which is my favorite. I'm sure if someone sees this as a book cover, they'll want to know what is inside. (I know I'm curious now.)
if i may criticise one thing, her right hand.. could be turned more towards the viewer... besides that i believe it to be really good, good colour pallete.. good light and shading
- looks like something Id read. Do you know?
